Prepararea cremei:

Crema rezultatata se imparte in doua parti egale.

Se imparte aluatul in 3 parti egale.

Pofta buna!

PSA: You Can Order a Birthday Cake at McDonald's

The other day, I discovered something mindblowing on TikTok. Along with your regular Big Mac and fry order (plus maybe a chocolate shake), you can pick up a birthday cake right from the drive-thru window at McDonald&aposs.

This seemed way too good to be true, so I had to test it out myself. I won&apost lie to you — the first attempt was a total fail. The McDonald&aposs employee gave my order a long, awkward pause before asking his manager, then responding with the fact that birthday cakes had not been on the menu for a long time. Disappointing.

But I wanted to give it one more go before calling this myth busted. And my man at the second McDonald&aposs window, he really came through for me. After another long, rather uncomfortable pause (it was abundantly clear that this is not a common request) he replied, through laughs, "sure, I guess!" MAGIC.

Each kind employee I talked to in the drive-thru window was just as shocked as the last one. I proudly believe I might be the only customer to ever ask for one at this McDonald&aposs location. One McDonald&aposs staffer said "I&aposve seen them in the freezer, but I didn&apost know we actually sold them." However, another told me that the employees often enjoy them in the back whenever someone is celebrating a birthday. Sounds like McDonalds&apos best kept secret.

For just $10.78, I received a frosted vanilla sheet cake with Ronald McDonald&aposs likeness on top, delivered through my car window. It was very cold (yes, likely still frozen), but the flavor was just like that of a soft, frosted cookie you&aposd buy in the grocery store. To me, it tasted like the perfect sugary, vanilla treat that any kid would go crazy for on their birthday.

So, if it&aposs your birthday, or the birthday of someone you love, take this as your sign to go order a birthday cake from McDonald&aposs. And if they say no, just try again at the location around the corner.

Genshin Impact: How To Get Birthday Cake for Traveler

Genshin Impact treats players to gifts like free Primogems and valuable upgrade materials, but will miHoYo celebrate each Traveler's one special day?

The arrival of Version 1.1 has kept Genshin Impact fans busy with plentiful exciting content, ranging from new playable characters to limited-time events. That said, players with an October or November birthdate may also be making some unique discoveries when they login to the game on their special days.

Travelers in Genshin Impact have thus far received three birthday messages from in-game characters, each containing a special bundle of gifts. While these messages are each written from the perspective of in-game characters, players can actually receive a special note, along with a "Cake for Traveler," from the game's developers themselves, if they register an account before their birthday.

To obtain the unique Cake for Traveler item, Travelers should simply play Genshin Impact on their respective birthday. Of course, "birthday" in this case refers to the birthday entered on the account's personal info page (which can't be changed once set), so players who might've entered an alias birthdate will have to go by that one. While birthday gifts from characters like Keqing or Xiangling include a small variety of items, a player's own birthday bundle will include but one single item: the Cake for Traveler.

For the sake of surprise, the contents of the Happy Birthday message from miHoYo, the game's developer, won't be posted in this article. However, players should be aware that this birthday note will include the coveted four-star Quest Item, Cake for Traveler. Simply login to Genshin Impact and check Paimon's Inbox to claim the reward.

When used, Cake for Traveler will do two things: reward one Fragile Resin, and reward one additional (unusable) copy of itself. So, yes, players will literally be able to have their birthday cake, and eat it too. Fragile Resin, when used, restores 60 Original Resin. Original Resin, in turn, can be used to claim rewards from Meteorite Remains in the new Unreconciled Stars event, or more broadly, to claim rewards from the Blossoms that appear after every Domain/major boss fight.

When players run out of Original Resin, they're forced to either shell out some premium currency, or wait for the game's timer to slowly regenerate the resource. Given that the Genshin Impact Resin system has stirred enough commotion to earn a reworking, Fragile Resin are a welcome item to most players' inventories they'll allow for an instant Resin refresh.

Gamers who haven't yet created a Genshin Impact account, but already had their birthdays go by this year, should note that there's no negative consequence to using a fake birthday when registering an account (as long as the player meets the legal age requirement, of course). At the same time, the birthday message doesn't include a free Primogem package, or anything significantly valuable. Nonetheless, if a player would rather get their hands on the Cake for Traveler item ASAP, they can simply set their new account's birthday to a soon-to-be date, though naturally, they won't be able to celebrate their in-game and real-life birthdays simultaneously come next year.

Genshin Impact is available now on the App Store, Google Play, PC, and PS4, and is currently in development for PS5 and Switch.

Step 1

Step 2

Combine the butter, shortening, and sugars in the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment and cream together on medium-high for 2 to 3 minutes. Scrape down the sides of the bowl, add the eggs, and mix on medium-high for 2 to 3 minutes. scrape down the sides of the bowl once more.

There’s a reason for every step!

We use room-temperature butter and mix for a long time in our Birthday Cake recipe to make sure that our layers cake come out moist and fluffy — and we bake them in sheet pans so they’re easy to cut and stack (no worrying about misshapen cake rounds here).

Step 3

On low speed, stream in the buttermilk, oil, and vanilla. increase the mixer speed to medium-high and paddle for 4 to 6 minutes, until the mixture is practically white, twice the size of your original fluffy butter-and-sugar mixture, and completely homogeneous. don’t rush the process. You’re basically forcing too much liquid into an already fatty mixture that doesn’t want to make room for that liquid. There should be no streaks of fat or liquid. Stop the mixer and scrape down the sides of the bowl.

Step 4

On very low speed, add the cake flour, baking powder, salt, and the 50 g (¼ cup) rainbow sprinkles. Mix for 45 to 60 seconds, just until your batter comes together. Scrape down the sides of the bowl.

Step 5

Pam-spray a quarter sheet pan and line it with parchment, or just line the pan with a silpat. Using a spatula, spread the cake batter in an even layer in the pan. Sprinkle the remaining 25g (2 tablespoons) rainbow sprinkles evenly on top of the batter.

Step 6

Bake the cake for 30 to 35 minutes. The cake will rise and puff, doubling in size, but will remain slightly buttery and dense. At 30 minutes, gently poke the edge of the cake with your finger: the cake should bounce back slightly and the center should no longer be jiggly. Leave the cake in the oven for an extra 3 to 5 minutes if it doesn't pass these tests.

Step 7

Take the cake out of the oven and cool on a wire rack or, in a pinch, in the fridge or freezer (don't worry, it's not cheating). The cooled cake can be stored in the fridge, wrapped in plastic wrap, for up to 4 days.

Buddy Valastro Celebrates His 44th Birthday with an 'Amazing' Reese's Cake Made by Wife Lisa

The Cake Boss star turned 44 on Wednesday and celebrated with a very special dessert. His wife, Lisa Valastro, made him a three-tier Reese&aposs birthday cake, a baking tradition she takes on every year.

"Thanks to everyone who took the time to leave me a little Birthday love today!" Buddy wrote on Instagram alongside a photo with the cake, which was filled with Reese&aposs cups, pretzels, sticks and M&M&aposs.

He continued, "Thank you to my amazing family that I love so much for making every Birthday feel special and to the love of my life&#[email protected]ਏor making me an amazing cake that I look forward to every year! 🎂 ❤️ This years 3-tier&#[email protected]਌reation (my favorite)!"

The New Jersey native also posed with his four children —ꃚughter Sofia, 17, and sons Buddy Jr., 16, Marco, 13, and Carlo, 10 — in a snap on Lisa&aposs Instagram Story, which she captioned, "Happy birthday!! @buddyvalastro."

Lisa, who married the celebrity chef in 2001, also honored her husband on his special day in a sweet post on her main Instagram feed.

"Happy birthday to my handsome husband&#[email protected] I love you with all my heart. " she captioned two photos of the couple. "The kids and I are so lucky to have you. I can&apost wait for you to see what we cooked and baked youtoday.  #44 #birthdayboy#pices #husband #lovehim #celebrate#handsome #birthdaycake#specialdinner 😘🎉🎊🎁🎂🎈❌⭕️❌⭕️."

Buddy received more birthday love in the comments section of his and Lisa&aposs posts from some of his famous pals, including Gigi Hadid, Melissa Gorga, Mariano Rivera and Anne Burrell.

Buddy&aposs birthday comes after the chef underwent multiple surgeries on his right hand last year following a freak accident in the family&aposs N.J. home.

The injury occurred in September when he was spending quality time with his family at their in-home bowling alley. After there was a malfunction with the bowling pinsetter and Buddy went to fix the problem, his right hand became lodged in the machine and a metal rod impaled his hand three times between his ring finger and middle finger.

"I looked at my hand and blood was gushing everywhere. It looked like a Halloween movie," Buddy told PEOPLE in September. "[It] was the worst pain that I&aposve ever encountered in my life."
